Bio: was excellent from 2001-03 for the Mariners and was projected to be their ace for a long time to come. Unfortunately, arm issues wore down his control, and his starting dreams have been crushed. He comes to Boston as a free agent and will probably be one of the top setup men on the team. He may have won the closer's role, but Papelbon wanted it, so he got it. Simple as that. I have to change all of my projections now, but I look at what they were and realize they were probably a little off. I had maybe a little bit too much confidence in this guy.

Projected 2007 Statistics: 4.35, 65, 20, 70

Fantasy Outlook: for those of you who didn't take my old advice to wait and see, tough luck. I'd begin to drop this guy now. Maybe he'll get some holds and be a decent reliever this season, but we've got Donnelly and eventually Mike Timlin when he returns from injury that will enter the seventh and eighth innings before this guy.
